what it takes to be great
It takes a great deal of practice outside of practice to really be good. I don't expect you to watch all of this video but watch how this little boy is practicing on his own.

Email newsletter
I often send you video clips but sometimes reading about the game or seeing diagrams will help you understand better. There is an email newsletter put out by a website called World Class Coaching that is aimed at young players. I would like for you to subscribe to this *free* email newsletter.
Click here. Put your email address in the box and click submit. Then choose 'FineSoccer Kids' They will send an email about once a week. I also get these emails so I might ask you what this weeks email was about to see if you are reading them.

Move of the Week
Every week I will post some video clips of a specific move that I want you to practice at home. I will ask you to show me the move approximately one week later at practice. One of the best ways to get better is by practicing outside of practice. It takes dedication and sacrifice but I know you can do it!
The first move is called the Ronaldo chop. It is used by the Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo. Here are some videos that show you step by step how to do it and then a highlight video of the man himself.

welcome!
Welcome players, parents and fans of BUSA North Red 99. My reason for having this blog is to disseminate information to the players I coach. I will use it mainly to show video clips of soccer moves/goals. I will also use it to remind players of upcoming games they should watch. I have said time and again that watching soccer at a high level is one of the best ways to learn how to play the game.
